I am excited to inform you that my first YA novel When the Dragons Came is now available on the Amazon Kindle Store. The book will soon be available in paperback. Kayla's little brother Isaiah is autistic. Kayla explains what autism is like for Isaiah on a daily basis. This book was inspired by my son Isaiah who is on the autism spectrum. My son goes through struggles and I wanted to write this book so that people can have a better understanding of my son and kids like him. I hope this book can make the lives of people with a disability better through understanding and compassion. I also want other parents with kids with a disability know that they are not alone.
